Groundbreaking---Hermosa Vista Stake Center

I'm so happy I didn't miss this historic ceremony! I wasn't really excited about getting up early on Saturday to go to the groundbreaking event for our new Stake Center, everyone said we were going to have to walk to get there, sit in the dirt for 45 min. But I'm so grateful I didn't miss it! The weather was fantastic, we drove right up to the entrance and enjoyed the spirit. I learned that the trail that the first pioneers coming into Mesa took went right through where our new church building will be built. My ancestors came to Mesa using that same trail. At the end of the ceremony they released white doves to the music of "Come, Come Ye Saints" the spirit was so strong I can just imagine how excited those pioneers would be knowing that the church is so strong here in Mesa. What do you think of my mom and I in our matching outfits---like mother like daughter---I didn't realize we matched so much until I saw the pictures.

REAL FAMILIES REAL ANSWERS Mon. Dec. 1st 9:30a.m.

Last week Brooke and her family were on the show Real Families, Real Answers on the BYU Channel. They did such a good job I thought I need to brag a little. In June 2007 a film crew came and spent a few days filming their family. They spent the first day interviewing Brooke and Mike so they could get to know them and their kids. The next few days they followed them around with their cameras as they worked, shopped, rode horses, and played. Brooke said after awhile we got used to the cameras. It seemed like everytime we turned around a camera was right there! They enjoyed the crew and it was a little sad when they flew to their next location. Their segment was Blended Families and it will be on one more time. MON. DEC. 1st 9:30 a.m. Next year it will go out to PBS stations throughout the United States and all over the world. It is a great series with a great message! LOOK OUT KATE & JON PLUS 8!

A party at Disneyland!

Last October Brooke and I went on a girls trip to Disneyland and fell in love! So in love that we bought year passes. We really have gotten our moneys worth! We started taking the kids for their birthdays. Since Cody's birthday is in July we waited until October for nicer weather and combined his and Tatum's trips. We also thought it would be fun to have Rhett & Chase go along!! We flew into Orange County and got some dinner & then headed for the hotel. Thanks Steven for getting us such a great deal on the hotel.

The next morning after breakfast we headed for the happiest place on earth! We planned out our day and we started out with lots of fun in Tomorrowland. The boys are HUGE star wars fans so we spent a lot of time there. Tatum fit in great with all the boys & wasn't scared of anything. I enjoyed every minute of the day & loved all the hugs and kisses from those sweet kids!

Mark gave a great talk in church yesterday on faith, prayer and action , he had a quote he used and everyone wanted a copy so I thought I would post it here------

He is gone to Mexico so many weekends, it was really fun having him home! He did a really great job too!

Bridget is recovering fast and looking beautiful with her new baby in her arms. Presley is doing wonderful over at Grammie Darla's but has a hard time leaving after her visits with her new little sister and Mom. We ran over after church with my Mom and Dad so they can see their new great grandbaby.

Presley is a very happy BIG sister! We are so excited to welcome our 9th grandchild! Tess came very fast this morning. Bridget and Dustin arrived at the hospital about 5a.m. and she was born at 7:01! She weighed 6lbs. 2oz. and is 191/2 inches long. She is so tiny and of course beautiful! Bridget is doing great and we can't believe she just had a baby!

I've decided the kids have a lot more fun at the cabin than anywhere else we could go! After they played at Tonto Creek, they said this was more fun than Disneyland! They can't wait to1 go back again. This is such a tradition in our family---when I was a kid we would go to the Creek and float in a little boat my Grandma brought for us to play in. Then my kids did the same thing with their cousins. This is the third generation!

Paige and I had so much fun taking Sydney to Disneyland for the day. I love this grown up picture of her.
Sydney loved the teacups. I can't even watch without getting dizzy!

We had so much fun meeting up with Stacy, Matt, Jana, Carys, and Madison.

Sydney was so tired she took a nap on the train ride. We went around 2 or 3 times, I can't really remember, I must have taken a nap too.

Steven Graduated last Thursday from Mt. View. I'm feeling a little displaced, but everyone keeps reminding me that we will love it, I hope, I don't do to well with change.

Unfortunately the weather was miserable so all the married kids just met us at home after graduation. Jack and Kellie came but I didn't get a picture. All the seniors didn't want to be separated in the gym and auditorium so they braved the rain. Everyone was so dripping wet but so excited too.

Our oldest granddaughter is turning 9 years old tomorrow, so Brooke and I took her to Disneyland last week! We couldn't have asked for a more perfect trip. We were on a pretty tight schedule, but everything just fell into place. It was Kelsey's day, so we went to the cutest petting zoo behind "thunder mountain" . She was in heaven when she saw the animals!
We went on a Winnie the Poo ride. Kelsey loved Poo when she was little, but she is growing up and the fast rides were her favorite now. She loved Space Mt., that was our last ride of the day. Good thing it was the last one because my head was spinning and I had to seat it out when her and Brooke jumped on it again for one last time.

I love these girls! Kelsey is the cutest, sweetest little 9 year old around! I love her passion for horses, cows, goats, well lets just say in living creature. She is a perfect big sister, helping her Mom with the twins, being a best friend to Cody and a great example to all her cousins. We love you Kelsey and we are so happy you are a part of our family!

I'm so blessed to have such a wonderful Mother!

She is:

such a selfless person, a great teacher, full of energy, a great seamstress, spiritual, hard working, so loving and kind, a great cheerleader , very artistic, beautiful!

I'm so grateful for all she has taught me, when I was going through an awkward stage and hating being so tall, she would say she wished she was tall as me! I loved how she would take my sister and I shopping then sketch out the dress we loved and find just the right material and then spend days making the dressed we loved. She worked so hard and made many sacrifices for all of us. My kids love their grandma, they have such fun memories of taking vacations and trips to Prescott, she taught them their multiplications and loved reading to them.
I feel so blessed to call her Mother! Happy Birthday.

I grew up in a wonderful family, I just loved being with them. Here are 5 things I remember.

We loved playing board games on the Christmas break and during the summer-- clue, monopoly, sorry, and risk!
We always took wonderful summer vacations---one year we took a month long trip back east with my grandparents. We saw historical places, and met friends and cousins I never knew before.
We built a family cabin at forest lakes---we learned how to wallpaper and put tile down. What fun we had learning together!
We went to church every Sunday in our station wagon---I loved getting dressed up and going to town. Even now, Sunday is my favorite day of the week ---being uplifted at church and being with my family the rest of the day!
We loved homemade ice cream---my mom would make tutti-fruitti and we would take turns cranking the handle---well before we got the electric one!

I know I'm lucky. There was a lot of laughing and teasing in our house , and we knew we were loved by very special parents! Now our family is growing and we have some of the same traditions I had growing up and what a crazy time we have together!

Hey, wasn't President Monson great again in the afternoon session of conference? What a sweet humble man and I love his sense of humor. And what love he has for his wife!

Spring Break

We had a lot of fun again in San Felipe for Spring Break! We all traveled together this year because we thought it would be faster going thru San Luis instead of Mexicali so Mark lead the way (it is a nicer drive but I don't know if it's that much faster). We had quite a caravan going---Paige's family and five other families from Rex's work---our friends the Ferrin's, Soelberg's and the Ferrin boys and friends, what a group we made. We were excited to finally get to our spring break stomping grounds. We had fun hanging out on the beach,throwing frisbees, flying kites and getting some sun. We went to church on Sunday, and as always, loved the sweet humble branch and the people. After church we went over to Ferrin's house and had BBQ shrimp and fish it was sooooooo delicious played "Life" and watched the movie"What about Bob" one of our all time favorites! We love going to town to walk on the malecone to shop and eat---it was a little crazy this year because the baja 250 races were going on but still lots of fun. We had such a nice relaxing time and can't wait to go back!The girls showing off their braids.

This sweet little girl goes to bed with a smile and wakes up with a smile and just lights up a room with her beautiful grin. She has gorgeous blue eyes which are so fun coming from such a brown eyed family-----when we went to Honduras to pick up Jack we would show everyone our family picture and without fail they would point to Sydney and Cody and say "muy bonita"! She loves preschool, dance, primary and playing with her cousins! Today she said "Grammie I love you, I had the best day ever" and I just melted. Love you too, Sydney!

You have been such a delight in our life! We were so excited to have a baby boy come into our lives after 3 girls. Mark was the assistant scoutmaster at the time and everyone at church was so excited for us too! So much that the scoutmaster's wife made you a scout uniform out of a cabbage patch pattern, complete with socks and hat.( I wish I could scan the picture so everyone could see how cute it was) When I think of you, I think fun, fun, fun and happy, happy happy! You loved the movie Bambi when you were around 18 months you would watch it and say"Bambi get up" when his Mom died. You loved Hop on Pop and you were really good at memorizing. When you were 3 you would recite a poem the girls were learning for Young Women's.

Grandparent Fun Is:

I love the time I spend with my grandkids---I love watching Dora, Hannah Montana, The Incredibles, and The Game Plan. I love being the adoring audience at recitals and t-ball games. I love to sit and watch somersaults in the family room or tricks on the trampoline. I love to color in the strawberry shortcake coloring book while visiting with their Mom's on why they love Grey's Anatomy. Right now I have 8 fabulous grandchildren but soon to be nine------I was just thinking I'm happy to be a Grammie again. A brand new baby coming this year just in time for Jack's wedding, Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas. What joy!

Game Night!

Sunday night I told the kids I had a new game to play. It was a game my cousins from California (who I always thought were so cool) played when they came to Arizona in the summer. You take a saucer cup of flour and press it very tight in the cup, put a plate on top and turn it over. Tap the cup and slowly lift the cup and you have this flour molded like the cup. Next you put a nickel or dime on top of the flour cup. Take a butter knife and everyone takes turns slicing the the flour but you don't want the coin to fall, but when it does the person that it falls on has to pick up the coin with their mouth. You can't use your hands, so has you can see your face is covered in flour. The grandkids loved it! Of course I never wanted to make it fall so I wouldn't get flour all over me----well they thought that was the best part! They loved digging for the coin with their face buried in the flour. The 3 little ones didn't really play, but Landon and Carter wanted to get their faces dirty too! Of course Miss Kennedi just smiled and didn't want to get that pretty little face messy. Cheryl & Johnny do you remember playing this?

Happy Birthday to my sweet daughter! She is a wonderful mother, wife, sister and daughter and she deserves a little recognition. I'm so sad that my computer won't let me scan pictures and download new pictures. I have so many cute baby pictures of Bridget. She was the best baby I remember asking the Doctor if something was wrong because she slept so much and he patted my arm and said "Honey you just have a good baby". After having twins that were colicky I was scared to death to have any more kids so thank heavens she was soooo good. I do remember thinking how could anyone complain about just "one "baby. She is such a hard worker one time she stayed up almost all night helping while we put new tile in our kitchen she was about 10 years old. She always loves a project. She is a great cook ,she makes us laugh, we love her and always want to be around her! Hope you had a great birthday!

Happy Birthday!
Friday was my Dad's 76th b-day. He is a very special Dad. I haven't met anyone in my 51 years who doesn't like my Dad. He is a very loveable person & doesn't have a enemy in the world.
The other day I heard the song zippety do-da & I immediately thought of my Dad he used to sing this to Cheryl, Johnny and I. I could picture a bluebird sitting on his shoulder---I just love that song.

My Dad has this little whistle, we would hear it when he came through the door at night from work or if he was close by---he would whistle and say I'm home! It has become a kind of a family thing for us too.

HE IS:

Giving, Hard working, amazing teacher, funny and kind to everyone.

The other day after we had everyone over for a little party for him--Mark said, "Your Dad is the greatest". I hope he knows how much his family LOVES him. We feel so blessed to be able to call him Dad. Love you, Susan

The other day I went into Jack's room and he had his Grandma Daley's book open. She wrote this book a few years ago and gave it to everyone for Christmas. It is filled with pictures and many stories. When we first got it I looked at all the pictures and just hadn't taken the time to read the book. Brooke called me one day and said "Mom you need to start reading Grandma's book, it is so interesting. She said I feel like I'm reading a really good novel". So I started reading it and then Paige and Bridget, we would talk about the parts we all liked. It was really hard to put it down. One of my favorite stories in the book is called "Mother's Surprise Birthday Party". I guess she decided to have a surprise b-day party for her Mom who worked and would also help with her girl scout troop. She cleaned the house, had refreshments and got the living ready to play "Bunko" she even had prizes too! She invited all the girls from her girl scout troop and their Mothers. She said when her Mom walked through the door she was very surprised. She says,"I know she could have killed me"! I guess her Mom didn't really know the girls Mom's and they had all brought presents. This story reminds me of my own girls who surprised me one Birthday. They were about 10 years old the same age as their Grandma---of course they didn't invite anyone to a party but they screamed "surprise" and had a cake and balloons and presents for me. I think that was one of my favorite birthday's! I was so excited that they had planned this little party without any coaxing or encouraging, they just wanted to do something nice for me.

My Mother-in-law had a birthday a few months ago and I just wanted to let everyone know what a beautiful woman she is. The best way to describe her is she is elegant and she dresses to kill. I'm thankful for the influence she has on our family. She is a great example of a wonderful wife and mother!

What a Great Thanksgiving!

How do all you bloggers do it? Getting through the turkey comas, family get togethers, late night parties,early morning shopping sprees etc, etc,& so on, then fitting in a Happy Thanksgiving post. You are all amazing! ---- We had a terrific Thanksgiving weekend. We had my family over for dinner which turned out great with all the many hands that helped with the yummy dinner. I have been crazy about sweet potatoes lately so I made them every way I could think of--when I was a kid I didn't like them at all. Every time I would see them with marshmallow's I would gag. Boy time's have changed last month I even had sweet potato fry's (delicious). Anyway, we had a wonderful day, watched football, visited,slept, and the kids had fun making turkey puppets. Thanks to Stacy for the fun pictures she is quite a photographer. Mark and I found out his brother was moving so we headed to his house to help but most of the work was done, I don't know how much help we really were. When we got back to the house Jack came in and said I thought we wer'e going to the movies so he made some calls and Paige, Rex and the kids met us. We saw "Enchanted" and everyone loveddddd it. I kept finding myself smiling all through the movie---everytime I looked down the row I was shocked at how Landon was sitting so still watching the movie I kept thinking he must be asleep----but he was just loving the show! The next morning Mark and I headed to San Felipe for a very relaxing time. We ate shrimp in town, golfed, watched the sunrise over the sea, ate more mexican food, watched movies and I even finished the book " Twilight"! I still can't believe I enjoyed a love story about vampire's! Hope everyone had a Happy Thanksgiving we loved celebrating with all our family. Wow now we can enjoy the Christmas season. Wahoo!

Homecoming King and Football Captain

I'm sorry for another post about Mt. View Football but that's about all we have been doing lately so here we go again.

Last Friday was Mt View's Homecoming Game and what a exciting night it turned out to be. Steven was voted captain for the team and Nick Ferrin was voted Homecoming King!Steven and Nick have been friends since kindergarten. They have played little league baseball, basketball, and they have been on many trips together to California. Just last Sept. Nick came with us to New York to see the Yankees play the Red Sox for Steven's birthday. While we sat in the stands I just couldn't stop thinking about what a great year it has been for these two good friends!

He sat in the salon chair for about 30 minutes while they sprayed, combed and brushed his hair. No wonder they love him--he's so patient!

I'm so grateful I have a sweet sister to share my life with. We have enjoyed many wonderful memories growing up in Arlington! We loved climbing trees, making forts, riding our bikes, and roller skating in the school gym. I loved having a sister so close to me. I still think it is so funny when people would think we were twins and I was a foot taller than her. She is sweet and beautiful inside and out. She loves Disneyland, reading and her family. I have always thanked my Heavenly Father for giving me the blessing of such a great sister.

Last week we took a fun trip to San Francisco and had a great time. I decided the best trips are last minute, spur of the moment, pack your bags let's go trips. Paige's girls were out of school for Fall break so we decided to go see San Francisco. Bre called the night before we left and and said I'm coming too, Paige and I were so excited--. We missed Brooke,Kelsey and Kennedi but she had a girlfriend trip planned for next week and Kelsey was with Pam in San Diego. We loved the weather, the food, and the shopping. We learned how they make fortune cookies in Chinatown, there are a group of sea lions that love fisherman's wharf, and that Union Square is the 3rd largest shopping area in the U. S. We rode the BART,the trolley cars, cable cars and walked,walked,& walked. Thank heavens for the "one" stroller we had with us---each one of the girls took turns taking naps. We had some crazy times and we loved ever moment. Thanks girls, love you!

We share our wedding anniversary with Mark's parents, Brooks and Margaret. Last year we celebrated by going on a cruise with them and Mark's sister Kim and her husband David. We had so much fun getting dressed up, dancing and being treated like royalty. We really need to do this again.

I love these 2 crazy girls! 31 years ago today I was in the hospital expecting to have 1 big baby--that's what Dr. Curtis kept telling me. Then 3 hours later to our great surprise I had 2 sweet little baby girls.I had a few people that would ask if I was going to have twins and I just kept telling them no-- just one big baby. All my family were so good to me they told me I didn't even look pregnant from behind. After the girls were born the truth came out---I was huge and they were all worried. Brooke was born first, 7 pounds 3 ounces and then the doctor said nurse we need another blanket we have another baby coming--7 minutes later Paige was born, 6 pounds even! So I must of been scary to look at with 13 pounds of baby. I'm so grateful for these 2 beautiful daughters they are so sweet and kind and soooooomuch FUN!

I love how Brooke goes down memory lane on Monday's. Today I realized it would have been my Grandma Openshaw's 108th birthday and tomorrow would have been my Grandma Leffue's 98th birthday! They were both such great women in my life. My grandma O was one of the first women to graduated from ASU back then it was called something different. She loved gardening and was such a good writer, I remember she used to write our talks for church. She was also a hard worker, my grandparents owned a dairy on Dobson and Broadway and I know that was no easy job. She was quiet, & sweet and held all kinds of positions in the church.I always loved coming to Mesa to stay with her and my Grandpa. She lived to be 102 years old. My Grandma L also loved to garden, she loved camping and alot of my memories are going to Tonto creek and the cabin with her and my cousins. She too was a hard worker living through the depression. Both my Grandmothers suffered the loss o a child from appendicitis. My Grandma L wrote in her journal,"Our little Frankie died of a terrible appendicitis. Our home wasn't the same anymore". She was very out-going and loved to visit. She loved children and would help the little immigrant children in the neighborhood with their homework. She died at the age of 98. Wow it makes me wonder if I will live to be 120!I love this picture,4 generations!

Football season is here! Steven had his first football game this Friday and we were so excited he got to START! He made some really exciting plays and of course we all went crazy when the announcer commented on his great tackle!

Here is a picture of Steven and his friend Brett he decided he wanted to play football his senior year. He hasn't played since 9th grade, but last year he started weightlifting and all his friends urged him to go out for the team. Tonight they scrimmaged Corona, the whole time I couldn't find him because they didn't have numbers on their jersey's and I was just hoping he was getting to play. After the game I went down to the field and he said, Mom did you see my interception. Well------ I don't think so I didn't know which player you were? ----some Mom I am! He was feeling pretty good about the game and couldn't wait to call Mark who is out of town. His coach said,Daley, I can't believe it, the first play and they throw it right to you. I think it's going to be a good year!

I can't believe this is the last time I will be sending one of my kids off to school. Steven will be a senior at mt. view this year and I'm feeling a little sentimental today. he starts to school monday and he said he can't wait to go back. i couldn't believe it for once i'm excited too!

love him or hate him, he sure hits the nail on the head with this! to anyone with kids of any age, here's some advice.

BILL GATES recently gave a speech at a high school about 11 things they did not and will not learn in school. he talks about how feel-good, politically correct teachings created a generation of kids with no concept of reality and how this concept set them up for failure in the real world.

rule 1: life is not fair--get used to it!

rule 2: the world won't care about your self-esteem. the world will expect you to accomplish

something BEFORE you feel good about yourself.

rule3: you will NOT make $60,000 a year right out of high school. you won't be a vice-pres.

until you earn it.

rule 4: if you think your teacher is tough, wait till you get a boss.

rule 5: flipping burgers is not beneath your dignity. your grandparents had a different word for

flipping: they called it opportunity.

rule 6: if you mess up, it's not your parents' fault, so don't whine about your mistakes, learn

My sweet missionary is HOME----safe and sound! In one of Jack's letters he told me he had changed------and I was a little worried because I loved Jack just the way he was ---happy, crazy and loving. But I LOVE the change; he's more spiritual, deep, and mature. But don't worry he is still the social butterfly and still lots of fun and he still has his grin from ear to ear( as you can see in all the pictures). Anybody that knows Jack, his letters were short and pretty vague. So seeing him interact with the Honduran people and listen to him speak Spanish was such a treat for me. Just when I thought I couldn't visit one more family we would meet the most humbling family and Mark and I couldn't hold back the tears. They would feed us tell we wanted to pop and wouldn't let us leave without a gift from there home. One of those families lived at the top of a mountain in the smallest little shack. We brought in a suitcase with toys and when we opened it up they all screamed like it was Christmas. My heart was so full I thought I was going to burst. The kids were so grateful for such simple things like a used doll and some baby bottles, I wish everyone could have been there to see it and maybe we would appreciate what we have here in the USA a little more. We had some very humbling experiences(and some scary ones if you read Brooke's blog). I LOVED meeting his companions, his mission President, and especially loved meeting the families that he taught and baptized---OH how he loved them---and OH how they loved him. Being with him in Honduras was a lifetime experience I will never forget!

I have been wanting to make this dessert the last two Sundays, but just didn't get around to it. So this evening Brooke and her kids came over so I talked Kelsey and Cody into helping me make them. We all decided they are delicious, especially with a little vanilla ice cream on top! They are a lot like chocolate lava cakes and are really easy to make! They are called "chocohotopots" and you can find the recipe on the food network website.

I love Sunday evenings when the kids come over and we all just hang out. Even Steven puts his phone down and likes to wrestle with his neices and nephews. It is a great time for the cousins to let there hair down. They love dancing, singing to the "high school musical" cd, and going a little crazy. Dustin had a birthday so we all enjoyed singing Happy Birthday to him and had a little dessert.

In just 2 weeks Mark and I will be picking up Jack from his mission in Honduras. We are so excited the 2 years have really flown by. In Jack's last e-mail he asked us if we would like to fill up 2 suitcases with toys for the children in Honduras. He said the little girls love small dolls like barbie's and the little boys love marbles. He also thought coloring books and crayons would be a nice gift. So I have been collecting toys and used clothes to take with us. If any of you have been cleaning out closets and toyboxes let me know I still have room in the 2 suitcases, and I'm still looking for dolls. By the way, his release date is my b-day I can't think of a better present than that.

As you all know, this June 23rd is Pres. Hinckley's 97th birthday. He has been such a wonderful example for all of us and I think that it is time we pay him back! One thing that he is known and remembered for is the construction of so many temples around the world. I was thinking that it would be a wonderful idea if every member possible attended the temple during the week of June 23 as a way of honoring and thanking Pres. Hinckley for all his years of service to the church.This is NOT a church sponsored activity, but just a personal thing that I'd like to suggest, so let's see what a difference we can make! I figure that between all of us, we can cover a lot of the country and maybe the world. Thanks for your help!

Last night we had a sleepover with all the older grandkids. I don't think I'm ready for all eight just yet. When I took this picture they were screaming I love sleepovers! This is the playroom for one more month. Soon it will be returned to Jack's room. I'm going to miss it, but I'm excited to decorate the room for Jack. I will have to put my Breck girls away until I can find another spot for them. These pictures hung in my room when I was a little girl. One day I was shopping at Cucumbers with Brooke, Paige & Bre when I found one of them. A few weeks later the girls surprised me with the rest of them. I'm really sentimental with things from my past. What a great Mother's Day! I think it might be the best ever. I love flower's, chocolates, lotions, and perfume's, but the best is having my family all around me. I was so excited to hear from Jack for the last time before we pick him up this summer. My Mom & Dad stopped by first and started the conversation and before we knew it the house was filled with Jack's friends, Jason & Callie, his cousin Matt, Aunt Cheryl, and all the brother's & sister's and niece's & nephew's. What a house full, I loved watching everyone pass the phone around. Grandpa & Grandma Daley stopped by just in time to say good-bye. I had a wonderful day. A couple of weeks ago we were able to go to Robbie Ferrin's Homecoming. He did a great job and we all loved seeing him and all his family. Shari really knows how to celebrate, there is always lots of yummy food and friends to visit with. Our family always has a blast! We had the most wonderful seats (front and center) Thanks so much David! We hadn't been to the pageant for years, it was a wonderful way to feel our Savior's love. I work at Mesa Air and I usually don't work on Sundays, but I had to today and what a day it was! First of all my alarm did not go off or if it did I don't remember turning it off. Since I was late I parked upstairs not where I usually park (had to pay!)
After a crazy morning of bad weather and cancellations. I was headed home to make it to Sunday school and Relief Society and like an old horse wanting to get straight home I forgot I parked upstairs! But, not realizing it until the bus driver asked me if I was on the wrong bus. I missed Sunday school but made it to Relief Society. I was sitting on the front row and got a tickle in my throat and could not stop coughing I finally ended up just leaving.
The moral of this story is don't work on SUNDAYS!
I had a wonderful afternoon Paige and Rex and the kids came over for a visit. We e-mailed Jack, and Paige and I read Brooke's blog we fell in love!!! And it got us excited to do our own.
So here I am!
I went out to Brooke and Mike's for dinner, Mike grilled yummy ribs and homemade rolls YUM!
After we got the kids in bed Brooke helped me get my blog started.
